If you want to make a difference in the community or wish to create communities beyond the classroom, join the various GTK student clubs. Try new skills or develop old ones while meeting friends with similar interests. The clubs listed below are held in English and warmly welcome all international students.

If you want to join a student club, complete this form by 30th September or contact the Student Union at gazdasagi@gtkhok.elte.hu

  • QLTR Film Club: More than just watching films, this club encourages members to share thoughtful insights. They organise film screenings, workshops, discussions, lectures, and quiz nights to build a strong and engaged film-loving community.

  • FreeJam Session: Do you play an instrument or sing? Join the new GTK Music Student Club! This club was founded to bring the faculty's musicians together, host on-campus jam sessions, and provide a space for intermediate players to shine and grow. Join us for our music sessions and let’s build GTK's very own music community together.

  • FINNECT: This finance-focused club offers lectures, roundtable discussions, brainstorming sessions, guest speakers, and workshops — all in English! Since it is a fairly new club, you have a chance to shape its future.

  • HiC - History and Cuisine: Perfect for history and food lovers, this club, led by international students, explores historical dining traditions through interactive presentations and tastings.

  • Tabletop Guild: Ready for epic adventures? This club is dedicated to tabletop role-playing games, including Dungeons & Dragons. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, you will find a friendly environment to embark on exciting quests and make new friends in. Attend their biweekly sessions, themed game days, and special events. No prior experience is needed — just bring along your imagination and enthusiasm.

  • V-Tennis Club: V-Tennis Club is where university life meets the tennis court - and you definitely do not have to be a pro to belong. If you have ever played tennis with friends, taken lessons before, or simply picked up a racket as a kid, you are welcome here - even if you feel like you have forgotten everything since then. Meet fellow students, improve your skills, challenge yourself, and most importantly, enjoy the game. Your court, your people, your V.

  • ProDev Club: Our Student Club is a community for students interested in finance, business, data, and professional development. We aim to connect students with practical knowledge, experienced peers, and opportunities to develop both technical and soft skills. Through workshops, discussions, projects, networking activities, and guest sessions, members will gain practical experience beyond the classroom. The club welcomes students from all backgrounds who want to learn, collaborate, and prepare themselves for their future careers.

  • Scottish Dance Society: In Scottish country dancing, it does not matter if you know the dance as long as someone does. If you wish to take up a fun activity and learn some new skills, you will be surprised at just how much technique can go into a single dance, even though we are essentially talking about a social dance form. With over 10,000 members globally, you will find a community almost anywhere in the world if you choose Scottish dancing.
