ELTE GTK’s International Office organises enrolment events for new students at the very beginning of the semester to share faculty information with them and to make them feel at home at our institution. Student are notified of the venue, the exact dates and schedule, as well as the documents required by email. Below you will find some general information regarding the enrolment sessions but remember to follow the emailed instructions, which are updated on a semester basis.

All ELTE GTK students, be they full-degree or Erasmus+/guest students, are required to attend the enrolment sessions to arrange various administrative tasks there and to listen to the highly informative talks on diverse academic and administrative topics. 

If you are unable to attend these events due to your late arrival in Hungary, you are kindly asked to indicate this in advance. This will allow the International Office to arrange an alternative enrolment opportunity for you. Email address and office hours.

Erasmus+ students from other ELTE faculties wishing to study some courses at our Faculty, are encouraged to attend our information sessions to learn more about us. Your administrative duties will have to be arranged at your host faculty, whose coordinators will also be able to advise you on the timing of our enrolment sessions. An Orientation Week to provide international students with practical information on their studies and opportunities for free time activities is organised centrally by ELTE. Autumn semester events (e.g. the Welcome Ceremony, the Information Market, and many more) are announced on the university website under Orientation Week. The Spring semester orientation presentations and events (e.g. those organised by ELTE’s Erasmus Student Network – ESN) are accessible here.
