Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest) announces its Business & Economics Summer University 13-17 July, 2026.
Established in 1635, Eötvös Loránd University, commonly known as ELTE, is the largest university in Hungary with 36,000 students and covering fields including natural and social sciences, law, humanities and education. According to international rankings it belongs to the top 2% of universities internationally and it is the best university in Hungary.
The ELTE Faculty of Economics offers two full degree BSc programs in English: International Business Economics (8 semesters, 240 credits) and Finance and Accounting (7 semesters, 210 credits).
This year’s ELTE Business & Economics Summer University (BESU) offers 6 courses taught by international scholars, business professionals and ELTE’s own staff. Students successfully completing the courses will get a transcript they may use to obtain 3 ECTS credit from their home institutions.
On previous occasions BESU attracted nearly a hundred students, some of them arriving from countries as distant as Peru or Indonesia.

- AI for Marketing (Justin Paul, University of Reading, NMIMS, India)
- Architecture of Deals: Principles of Transaction Design (Duc V. Trang, Landon Advisory Services)
- Hackathon: Creating Entrepreneurial Solutions for Complex Problems (Jim Seltenrijch and Marge Täks, Estonian Business School) – only accepts applications from students of Erasmus partner universities
- Intercultural management (Olof Brunninge, Jönköping International Business School)
- Negotiation (Gábor Forrai and János Tanács, ELTE, Zsolt Böszörményi, Bosch)
- Strategies of Multinational Enterprises (Yihan Wang, EM Normandie)
