At the Faculty of Economics (GTK), only students who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply for the scholarship: state-financed and self-financed full-time students who have been registered for at least two semesters and have earned minimum 55 credits during their studies, and their home faculty is the GTK.

The National Higher Education Scholarship is awarded for a full academic year, i.e. for 10 months, and the monthly amount of the scholarship is HUF 40,000.

The maximum number of students the Faculty of Economics can nominate for the award is 34 (25 bachelor’s and 9 master’s students).

Students can submit their applications via Neptun by 8:00 a.m. on 4 July 2024. Go to Administration/Requests and choose the request called ”Nemzeti felsőoktatási ösztöndíj – 2024/25” / ”National Higher Education Scholarship – 2024/25”.

Applicants whose weighted average does not reach 4.00 (the Call itself contains the calculation method used to determine the weighted average) and who have not completed all the courses they registered for in the spring semester of AY 2023/2024 by 30 June 2024 will not be nominated for the scholarship. Apart from one’s academic performance, scores will be given for language proficiency, professional, research, public, sports, social, cultural, and other activities. These scores add up and determine the ranking of the applicants. (If an applicant’s student status is terminated or is suspended during the academic year, he/she will lose his/her eligibility for the remaining amount of the scholarship.)
