Faculty participation in the international scientific community
Our colleagues have recently participated in several prestigious international conferences, sharing important scientific results and research with the international professional community.

The ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management organized the European Marketing Academy (EMAC) 2024 Regional Conference 2024 in Lisbon, where our faculty was represented by Professor Erika Hlédik and Tünde Szász, PhD Student. At the conference, they presented their joint work with Ottilia Táskai, PhD student, on the impact of environmental and health consciousness on brand loyalty, focusing on a survey of consumers of packaging-free shops, among whom they investigated the relationship between environmental and health consciousness and brand loyalty. The conference also provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen scientific collaborations and to integrate young researchers, especially PhD students, into professional communities. Participants were able to attend useful workshops and presentations that helped to build scientific relationships.

At the second flagship event, the 15th International IMP (Industrial Marketing and Purchasing) Conference in Oulu, Finland, our faculty was represented by Dr. Mária MagyarDr. Tibor Mandják (professor emeritus) and Gergő Pázsi. The day before the conference, Gergő also participated in the Doctoral Colloquium, a closed event especially for doctoral students. Here he presented his research on trust and distrust in business relationships, to which Gergő received valuable feedback and built new professional relationships during discussions with doctoral students from all over the world.

In the main programme of the conference, Dr. Mária Magyar and Dr. Tibor Mandják presented their paper " What does the concept of strategy mean in the IMP approach?". The aim of their research was to explore what strategic activities managers in networks engage in and how these influence the dynamics of network relationships.

The two conferences provided an opportunity for our faculty to gain new professional knowledge, present their research findings and strengthen international academic collaborations. Their participation contributes to enhancing the scientific reputation of the faculty and also provides inspiration for future research projects.
