Admissions exams
The admissions exams are conducted online on platforms easily available to all applicants. The exams are designed to test the applicants’ level of English proficiency (preferably, C1 English proficiency but B2 may also be accepted) and their eligibility to study at the Faculty of Economics. The expected level does not exceed knowledge pupils can gain at secondary (high) school level. Sample exams are not available.
By default, the admissions exams are conducted in April and May every year, Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship applicants can expect to have their exams in mid-late April, while tuition fee paying students are usually scheduled for mid-late May. Due to the fact that no particular exam preparation is required, the applicants are notified of the exact details of the exams (timing, platforms, etc.) a short time before the exams.
The exams and the submitted documents are assessed by a team of highly experienced instructors and administrators. Following this, all applications are ranked, and a final decision is made. Prospective students are notified of the Faculty’s decision in writing.
