No future without you - ELTE GTK’s Admissions Guide has been published
Not sure where to go next, but already thinking about university admission in 2025? This brochure from ELTE's Faculty of Business and Economics (GTK) can help you navigate your options and show you why it's worth studying here. Read on to find out what an exciting future awaits you if you choose GTK!

Why ELTE GTK?

The first part of the publication starts with what you want to know: why should you pursue a career in economics? Think about it, economics is all around you - the decisions that companies make today determine what you buy in the shop or how you use technology. GTK will show you how to be part of that world and build a successful career.

International opportunities

If you love to travel and are already thinking about where in the world you'd like to try your hand, GTK's international mobility opportunities are for you. With Erasmus+, you can study in many places, even outside of Europe! Imagine how cool it would be to spend a year at a university abroad, making lots of new friends and experiences!

Choose from four different programmes

ELTE GTK offers four bachelor’s programmes: Economics and ManagementTrade and MarketingFinance and Accounting, and International Business Economics. Don't know which is the best choice for you? This brochure explains in detail what each degree offers and what career opportunities you will have after graduation. For example, if you are interested in business management and strategic decision-making, then the economics and management programme is for you. But if you are more interested in communications and want to work on creative campaigns, a trade and marketing programme might be the way to go.

Keeping it simple

The brochure also answers questions about admissions: how your points are calculated, the main rules and what extra points you can earn. Scan the QR code to get more details about the process.

Excellent career prospects

As well as providing you with theoretical knowledge, a GTK programme develops practical skills that will help you find a job immediately after graduation. Whether you're looking for a job at home or abroad, a GTK degree sets you up for success anywhere. The brochure also tells you what you can expect to earn as a fresh graduate - and where you can progress after a few years of experience.

Women in business

Although many people think that careers in economics are more for men, the brochure also highlights the need for women in the field. It encourages young women to embrace challenges and to be bold in building their careers - because the opportunities are open to all.

Building connections

University is not just about learning! The brochure stresses the importance of starting to build connections while you're still at university. This can help you in your career and can also be useful later on when you're trying to advance in the professional world.

At the end of this brochure, you are invited to the open days where you can experience first-hand what it would be like to be a student at ELTE GTK. You can meet future professors and talk to current students. You'll also get answers to all your questions - from admissions to accommodation.
