Join us at the International Graduation Ceremony on 7 July

Although the final exams have just finished, the Faculty of Economics (ELTE GTK) is proud to announce that very close to 30 international students have successfully defended their thesis and passed their last exams and will receive their diploma at the International Graduation Ceremony at 2 p.m. (CEST) on Monday, 7 July 2025. This is the third event specifically organised for the international graduates of the Faculty’s English-language bachelor’s programmes, namely International Business Economics BA (8 semesters) and Finance and Accounting BA (7 semesters). 

The International Business Economics programme gave the new graduates a general training in business and economics with a special international orientation, while the Finance and Accounting programme familiarised those who had chosen it with economic processes both at a macro and a micro level and also gave them a solid background in finance, accounting, and controlling. In addition, all the graduates gained a thorough understanding of such areas as IT, management, law, and communication which, combined with the compulsory internship element of the programmes, ensures that they stand out from the crowd and can look forward to finding exclusive jobs upon their graduation. The students have come from both nearby countries like Macedonia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Kosovo, France, and from far-away places like Georgia, South Africa, Pakistan, Vietnam, China, and so on. We hope that by sharing classes, projects, as well as free-time activities with the Faculty’s Hungarian and other international students, they have learnt to understand one another better and have also built life-long personal and professional relationships. 

Graduates and guests will be informed on the details of the ceremony (exact time and venue) by email a few days before the big day.
